Kara Cassidy Hall

Though the lens of the Anthropocene, Kara Cassidy Hall explores our relationships with the natural world, history and each other. She is a transdisciplinary artist, educator and passionate about conservation. She is currently pursuing OCAC/PNCA’s Masters in Applied Craft + Design program. Prior to this candidacy she spent 3 1/2 years developing a successful progressive scaffolded curriculum, directing an experiential learning program, and teaching Fine Art’s in Beijing, China at The Affiliated High School of Peking University, Dalton Divison. Kara has been a member of several residencies around the world, La Wayaka in Armilia, Panama, Q Space in Beijing, China, The Biosphere Foundation in Bali, Indonesia as well as Salem Art Works and Ox-Bow School of Art in the U.S. She received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
