neither here nor there

As a Master of Applied Art + Design candidate with The Pacific Northwest College of Art and Oregon College of Art and Craft, I participated in our Midyear review show No Budget too Small. This is the work I completed for the exhibition.

  I am interested in the liminal: in-between disciplines, finished and unfinished, thinking and doing, making, being and art, craft and design. As people we also feel these liminal spaces: in our politics, our relationships, our thoughts and our

 I am interested in the liminal: in-between disciplines, finished and unfinished, thinking and doing, making, being and art, craft and design. As people we also feel these liminal spaces: in our politics, our relationships, our thoughts and our feelings. These monsters are allegories and an embodiment of liminality; they themselves are neither here nor there, good nor bad, their state of being will shift given the viewer and the context they are placed in.
